Barriers & Gate Automation
As part of our overall package we provide bespoke Gate designs, whether wrought iron, galvanised steel or wooden. Dependent on the environment, the designs can be functional or decorative.
In addition, vehicle gates often require automation allowing the client to control the Gates via their Access Control system. The gates can be programmed to open/close automatically at specific times. For instance, Schools often program gates to be open at drop off and collection times but closed at all other times. The gates can be operated by;
- Induction loop
- Keypad
- Remote Fob
- Card Access
Vehicle Barriers and bollards
Car parks, Schools and Hotels will often opt for vehicle barriers and or bollards
Vehicle barriers are a very effective way of controlling traffic flow into car parks for example. Barriers signal that authorised users are allowed access and can be controlled by integration of Access Control systems and Coin/token readers.
Bollards can either be fixed, electronic rising bollards or manual bollards. Rising bollards can be used in place of barriers or to re-enforce barriers.
Manual bollards are a very cost effective way of restricting access to a driveway or car parking bay.
